Workspace Creation and Maintenance

Workspaces are isolated environments in StationOne where you configure tools, models, skills, connectors, and knowledge bases for specific use cases. Each user starts with a default workspace (“MyWorkspace”) and can create additional ones or join shared workspaces.

Creating a Workspace

  1. Click the + icon (grid with plus) in the workspace bar (left sidebar).
  2. Select Create new workspace.
  3. Fill in the dialog:
    • Name (required).
    • Description (required).
    • Icon (optional): Upload an image (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP — automatically resized to 128px).
    • Color (optional): Choose a background color for the workspace avatar.
  4. Click Create.
  5. The new workspace becomes active immediately.

Joining a Workspace

Via Invite

  1. Click the + icon in the workspace bar.
  2. If you have pending invites, a badge shows the count.
  3. Click Review Invites to see pending invitations.
  4. Accept or decline each invite.

When someone shares a workspace link (stationone://workspace/join?id=...), clicking it opens StationOne and prompts you to join.

Via “Join Workspace”

  1. Click the + icon → Join Workspace.
  2. Browse available public workspaces.
  3. Click to join.
