Workspace Creation and Maintenance

Workspaces are where StationOne’s functionality lives. Each Workspace is a separate environment where you can configure tools, Models, Experts, Connectors, and Knowledge Bases for specific tasks. Start with your default Workspace (MyWorkspace), then create new ones or join existing Workspaces published by the community.

Create a Workspace

1. Launch the StationOne app.
2. In the left sidebar, click Create New Workspace > Create Workspace.
3. Enter a Workspace Name.
4. Select an icon.
5. Select a color.
6. Click Create.

Joining a Workspace

1. Launch the StationOne app.
2. In the left sidebar, click Create New Workspace > Join Workspace.
3. Available Workspaces will be presented, click Join.

NOTE: You will only have access to join other Workspaces if someone has shared the Workspace with you or if the Workspace you are joining has been designated as ‘Public’.

Workspace Settings

Models

Connect Online Models

This option provides the ability to connect online models to the selected Workspace.

1. In the left sidebar:
   1. Select the desired Workspace.
   2. Click Settings > Workspace Settings > Models.
2. Click + Connect Online Models.
3. Select the model provider.
4. Check the boxes for the models you want to use.

NOTE: Once the online models have been checked, they will appear in the Connected Online Models section. Online models can be removed by clicking on the “x”.

Install Local Models

Run AI models locally on your device for enhanced privacy and offline access.

1. In the left sidebar:
   1. Select the desired Workspace.
   2. Click Settings > Workspace Settings > Models.
2. Click Install Local Models.
3. Select the model provider.
4. Check the boxes for the models you want to install.

NOTE: Once the local models have been checked, they will appear in the Install Local Models section. Online models can be removed by clicking on the “x”.

Facet Sidebar Settings

Choose which Facet will appear in your workspace’s sidebar menu.

StationOne Features

1. In the left sidebar:
   1. Select the desired Workspace.
   2. Click Settings > Workspace Settings > Sidebar.
   3. Check the boxes for features you want to display.
   4. Uncheck boxes to hide features.
